Join our Kackar trekking tour and explore this stunning place. You will be impressed by the wildlife and the hospitality of the local people.
During our 5-days Kackar trekking tour we will hike through the pine forests, highland villages, mountain pastures and crystal clear lakes. We will also climb the highest point of Kackar Range - peak of Mount Kackar (3937 m).
Our guide will meet you at the airport in Trabzon and we will drive to Olgunlar Highland at an elevation 2200 m. (Yusufeli; Artvin). On our way we will enjoy beautiful landscape: forests, rivers, and crystals clear lakes. When we reach our hotel, we will have rest to be ready for next day and our hiking tour.

Day 2: Hiking through Olgunlar, Nastaf and Dilberdüzü Highlands
We will have a nice breakfast and then we will pack our bags and camping equipment on mules and start to hike from Olgunlar to Dilberdüzü. On our way we will stop by Nastaf Highland at 2400m. Then we will reach to campsite at Dilberdüzü at 2900m. We will set our tents at the campsite and have a lunch. Then we will have time to hike around and enjoy the beauty of the nature. At the evening we will have dinner prepared by our cooking staff.

Day 3: Hiking from Dilberdüzü, through Deniz Gölü, to Kackar Peak
We will get up very early and have a quick breakfast. Then we take our lunch boxes and personal equipment and start our adventure about 5:00 am in the early morning. After 45 min walking we should reach beautiful Deniz Gölü (Sea Lake) at 3450 m. From the lake we will continue our ascent to the top of Mount Kackar (3937 m), the highest point of Kackar Range. After reaching the Kackar Peak we will spend 30-40 minutes there, take pictures and rest. Then, we will slowly descent to Dilberdüzü and hike to beautiful Dibedüz for camping.

Day 4: From Dibedüz to Yukarı Kavron and Ayder
That day we will move from the South side of Kackar range to the North side. We will start from Dibedüz, hike across Kackar Mountains and see beautiful lakes and pure nature around. Then we will reach Yukarı Kavron and be transferred to Ayder Highland. At the evening we will enjoy traditional Turkish bath (Hamam) in Ayder and hot springs facilities.

Day 5: Transfer from Ayder to Trabzon airport
We will have breakfast at the hotel and short sightseeing of Ayder. Then we will drive to Trabzon airport.
Based on departure time, we can stop on the way by Rize Cotton Factory Shop and Sürmene Knife Factory Shop.
