Visa Regulations for Turkey, Georgia & Iran
Visa requirements depend on your nationality and may change over time. Below you will find general visa information for travelers joining our expeditions to Turkey, Georgia, and Iran.

Turkey – Visa Information
Turkey has a relatively traveler-friendly visa policy, but requirements vary by nationality.
In general:
- Visa-free entry is available for citizens of many countries, including most EU member states, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, and several others. The permitted stay is usually 30 to 90 days within 180 days, depending on nationality.
- Electronic visa (e-Visa) is required for some nationalities and must be obtained online before travel.
- Embassy visa may be required in specific cases (e.g. certain nationalities, longer stays, or non-tourist purposes).

Georgia – Visa Information
Georgia offers one of the most liberal entry policies in the region.
In general:
- Visa-free entry is available for citizens of many countries, including EU countries, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and others.
Depending on nationality, travelers may stay up to 1 year without a visa.
- Electronic visa (e-Visa) is available for travelers whose nationality is not visa-exempt and must be obtained before arrival.

Iran – Visa Information
Iran has more complex visa regulations, and requirements differ significantly depending on nationality.
In general:
- Most travelers require a visa to enter Iran.
- Citizens of many countries can apply for an Iranian e-Visa online and collect their visa either in advance or as a Visa on Arrival (VOA) at selected international airports.
- Citizens of certain countries (e.g. USA, UK, Canada) must apply for a visa in advance through an embassy and usually must travel with a licensed local agency and a pre-approved itinerary.
- Visa-free entry is granted to citizens of a limited number of countries for short stays (duration depends on nationality).
